Eleanor Mahin Thorp

Eleanor Mahin Thorp is our distinguished art professor.  Ms. Thorp received her Master of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.  In addition, she serves as an adjunct Professor at the University specializing in teaching painting and drawing courses.  Ms. Thorp has won numerous awards including the Virginia Commonwealth Fine Arts Scholarship, the Blanch Rich Visual Arts Scholarship, and the Outstanding BFA Graduate Award to name a few.  She was a finalist for the Hopper Prize and has been included in exhibitions at Tuesday-Tuesday Gallery, FAB Gallery and Cicada Gallery.  Eleanor has been featured in publications such as the Salt Lake Tribune and Shoutout LA.
