Admission Process

At AAE, we take the time and have the expertise to assess each child’s individual learning needs and deliver a curriculum to challenge and grow the student.

We also evaluate the space available before admitting a new student. Classrooms are small intentionally, giving students one-on-one attention from their instructors and effective collaboration among each other.

AAE has rolling admission, meaning parents can apply any time of the year. When space becomes available in our program, the first available students in the waiting pool will be considered. We do give preference to siblings of existing or former AAE students during the admission process.

Open House

AAE hosts regular open houses for parents to tour the school, meet faculty, and observe our learning philosophy in action.  Attending an open house enables parents to make an informed decision about our school after reviewing our approach to learning.

Schedule A Visit

After the open house, we encourage parents to schedule a visit for their child to spend a day at AAE. They will get to experience a day as an AAE student, and our staff can in turn learn more about your child and their learning styles. Some informal tests may be administered during this process. At the conclusion of this visit, faculty will review learning styles and test results with the parents.

Application Submission

The last step in our process is the submission of your application. Parents are asked to submit their application with associated fees. Upon submission, our admissions team may request academic records or teacher recommendations. The applicant’s visit, academic records, and teacher recommendations are all considered by the Admissions Team. Upon acceptance, parents are asked to sign a contract and pay the tuition deposit.

Extended Day Program

Every student wants to stay for Extended Day at the Academy of Academic Excellence — just ask our parents, and they’ll tell you that it’s true!

At the end of the school day, students go outside (weather permitting) for approximately 30 minutes. Next, there is a snack, followed by homework. Afterward, there is a special activity each day.

Monday – Board Game Day

Tuesday – Creative Arts Day

Wednesday – Wii Day

Thursday – Center Day

Friday – Movie and Popcorn Day

Any student staying until 5:30 PM or later is guaranteed to have homework finished. Plus, you only pay for the days your child stays. This is why our parents love Extended Day too!

Fees: Extended Day is $20 per day, Monday through Thursday 3:30-6:00 PM and Fridays 2:30-6:00 PM.
