Assistant Dean  Dr. Erika Napolitano  Upper Elementary Instructional Coach, Curriculum Specialist, MAP Testing Director, Scheduling Coordinator and Leadership Teacher.

Dr. Erika Napolitano serves as Assistant Dean at the Academy of Academic Excellence, where she leads with a clear mission: to ensure every child is known, challenged, and inspired to achieve excellence. With nearly two decades of experience in education, Dr. Napolitano is a dynamic instructional leader, culture-builder, and advocate for student-centered learning.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Richmond, a Master’s in Education from Virginia Commonwealth University, and has earned her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Her doctoral work focused on addressing chronic absenteeism through meaningful family engagement, reinforcing her belief that strong relationships are at the heart of student success.

At AAE, Dr. Napolitano oversees academic programming, teacher development, and school culture, while also leading key initiatives such as MAP testing, curriculum alignment, and student leadership development. She is passionate about building a strong school culture where every student feels known, every teammate feels supported, and every day is designed with purpose.

Her approach is grounded in the belief that connection drives culture, and culture drives achievement.

Outside of school, Dr. Napolitano enjoys spending time with her husband, Jimmy, and their two sons, Brody and Cameron. She loves traveling, paddleboarding, being on the water, and cheering on her hometown team, the Philadelphia Eagles.
